The 1,000-year-old pilgrimage to the shrine of St. James in the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela is known as the Way of St. James (El Camino de Santiago - in Spanish). Some 2000,000 pilgrims travel to the city each year from all over the world to find inspiration and/or deeper spiritual understanding. Many carry with them a symbol of the St James's Cross like this - believed to keep them safe.

Description: Our black-oxide-coated steel dog-tag measures 45mm long including the hanging bail by 23mm wide. It hangs on a black stainless steel cable chain which measures approx 50cm (20") long. The stainless-steel dog tag is engraved on the front with the Travellers Cross © symbol.
